Vehicle Safety
I have been reading a lot lately about car crash fatalities and how they could have been prevented if only the people were wearing their seatbelts. I don't see why something that takes such little time is seen as a nuisanse to some. It takes a few seconds to buckle up your seatbelt and it could save your life, why would you not do it? Also, you could receive a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt, so again, taking a few seconds to buckle up could save you money and your life. I just wish there were a product similar to the breathalizer that hooks up to your vehicle and won't let it start unless you're under the legal limit. Hopefully one day people will learn to take a few seconds out of their busy lives to do this simple task because one day this simple task could be the very thing that saves that busy life.

It truly is sad that people dont take a second to put on there seatbelt and end up paying the price for it with there lives.
ReplyDeleteRiding in a car scares me to death. it is so dangerous! Anything to help with safety in a vehicle is a great idea to me!
ReplyDeleteI will be the first to admit that I don't wear my seatbelt a lot. The only time I find myself wearing it is when it rains or when my mom and dad are yelling at me to put it on! It's not that I don't want to wear one, it's just that I don't ever think about it! This would be a great product just so it would remind people to put one on!
ReplyDeleteI always wear a seatbelt no matter whose car I am in. Wearing a seatbelt can save your life because even if your a cautious driver things happen and so you need to do everything you can to be safe.
ReplyDeleteI always wear my seat belt but I have to tell people who ride in my car all the time to buckle up. I know that the seat belt does save lives but the reason I make them buckle up is just so I don't get a ticket. If it was not the law I most likely wouldn't care if they buckled up or not.
ReplyDeleteI won't say that I always wear a seatbelt because I don't "always" do anything. However, I believe that wearing your seatbelt is a major issue that a lot of people ignore. Wearing a seatbelt makes me feel more secure. Plus the advantages outweigh the disadvantages...BY FAR!
ReplyDeleteI tend to forget to wear my seatbelt alot. I always remember to put it on when i spot a patrol car nearby. Also my car makes this annoying sound until i put it on.

ReplyDeleteSeatbelts. They only work "if" you use them. Three boys from Kossuth High School were killed last year in an automobile accident. None of them were wearing seatbelts.
ReplyDeleteI don't always wear my seat belt, but realize by not doing so I am taking my life into my own hands, but they are not comfortable sometimes, espically when you are just running around town or stuff like that.
